Who We Are

The Short Version
We built DairyDiary for milk distributors. Your business data — your customers, your entries, your payments — belongs to you. We store it securely so you can access it across devices. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything other than making the app work for you.
1. What Data We Collect
1.1 Account Information When you sign in to DairyDiary, we collect your mobile phone number (if you use phone/OTP login) or your Google account name and email address (if you use Google Sign-In). This is used solely to create and identify your account. 1.2 Business Data You Enter All data you create inside the app is stored under your account: customer records, daily milk entries, payment records, and settings/preferences. This is your business data. You own it entirely. 1.3 Device Information We automatically collect limited technical information like device type, OS version, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to keep the app functioning and deliver reminders.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to operate the app: sign in, account recovery, displaying customer records, generating bills, and delivering reminders. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.
3. How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored locally on your device for offline access and securely synced to a remote database hosted on Cloudflare (D1 SQLite database). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. By using DairyDiary, you acknowledge that your data is processed on Cloudflare infrastructure and authenticated via Google Firebase.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with Cloudflare (for backend infrastructure), Firebase (for secure authentication), and WhatsApp (only when you manually initiate sharing). We may disclose data if required by Indian law.
5. Your Rights
You have full control over your data. You can access, export, correct, and delete your data or your entire account through the app settings or by contacting us via email.
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all data is permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
DairyDiary is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including HTTPS communication and secure authentication. No system is 100% secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date and show an in-app notification. Significant changes may require your renewed consent.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).
